  Korosensei Korosensei , ( 殺せんせー )  was the homeroom teacher of  Class 3-E  of  Kunugigaoka Junior High School , and the secondary protagonist and antihero of  Assassination Classroom . He claimed to be responsible for creating the permanent crescent moon, and added that he planned to destroy the earth after teaching Class 3-E for a year. Appearance Korosensei has the appearance of a yellow octopus. He is about three meters tall and possessed a large, bulbous head with a large smile that rarely breaks or moves and small, beady eyes.   Nagisa shiota Nagisa Shiota  (潮田 渚,  Shiota Nagisa ) is a student in  Korosensei's   Class 3-E  of  Kunugigaoka Junior High School  and the main protagonist and narrator of  Assassination Classroom . Despite his overall passive nature, Nagisa has a natural talent for assassination. Appearance Nagisa is a petite-framed boy with blue hair and azure eyes. His hair goes past his shoulders due to his mother forcing him to keep it that way. He kept it in a long ponytail until  Kaede Kayano  joined the classroom and styled it in two pigtails. He is known for his androgynous appearance which has often been poked fun at by many people.   Karma Akabane Karma Akabane , ( 赤羽  業 カルマ   Akabane Karuma )  is a student in  Korosensei's   Class 3-E  of  Kunugigaoka Junior High School  who had been suspended from school due to his violent behavior and one of  Nagisa 's closest friends. Appearance Karma has pale skin, short red hair, and pale sharp eyes that appear as either mercury or goldish in color. Behind his usual innocent-looking, smiling face hides a torturous and rather sadistic personality. He has a slender build and has also been shown to have exceptionally sharp canine teeth. Among all the Class 3-E students, Karma is the only one to wear a black blazer as opposed to the standard school-issued uniform. In the anime, Karma is considered to be the most physically attractive out of all the boys in Class E by the girls. Rio Nakamura Rio Nakamura , ( 中村 莉桜   Nakamura Rio )  is a student in  Korosensei 's  Class 3-E  of  Kunugigaoka Junior High School  who was a former elementary school genius, but she felt lonely and longed to be normal. When she got to middle school, she began shirking off her studies which landed her in Class 3-E. Appearance Rio has long straight strawberry blonde hair (a darker blonde in the OVA) that is parted in the middle and worn swept behind her shoulders, and aqua blue eyes (sometimes appearing as light gray) with notably long eyelashes. The colors of her hair and eyes give her the appearance of a stereotypical Caucasian girl, even though she is Japanese, although her hair does appear to be dyed, as in a flashback she appears with a darker shade (black in the manga, dark yellow in the anime). She is one of  Nagisa Shiota 's best friends and is, by her admittance, currently in love with him. Appearance Kayano is a short girl with light green hair that is always fashioned in unique cat ear-styled pigtails, hazel eyes and a running gag for her appearance is that she does not have noticeable breasts like the other female students in the class, giving her the nickname "Forever Flat". Appearance Karasuma is a dashing young man with spiky black hair and eyebrows and piercing dark eyes. He has a tall and muscular build. He dresses professionally in a black business suit with a white shirt and a black tie. He is described as being "cool" by his students. Personality Karasuma is a strict but kind man, though he keeps a distance between himself and the students due to his status as an agent and his own professionalism.
